Zuckerberg (Facebook) no longer wants Censorship [Trump effect]

Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Facebook, Meta, Threads and Instagram) publicly declared today that he wants to change his orientation and community guidelines and admits in his speech that he has made mistakes, no longer likes the increasing censorship and now wants to distance himself from it.

Depriving people of the opportunity to express their opinions freely is not democracy. Zuckerberg no longer thinks censorship is a good thing and it has simply gone too far for him. He admits that he supported it for a while, but that he will now stop. He therefore wants his main office to stop operating from California and move everything to Texas. In doing so, he wants to make a statement that he now wants to distance himself from left-wing radical California.

Zuckerberg will now dismiss all the (radical left-wing) fact-checkers and rely more on the structure of X (Twitter). He also now wants to align himself more with the Trump administration and reject the radical left-wing policies that prevail in the EU and other Western countries, for example, which dictate policy and censorship.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg cited the recent election as a driving force behind the company’s decision and berated “governments and legacy media” for pushing the company towards “more and more censorship”.

“The recent election also feels like a cultural turning point that puts speech back at the forefront. So we’re going to get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies, and restoring free speech on our platforms,” Zuckerberg said.

It is therefore to be expected that Zuckerberg will now side with Elon Musk and Trump. He only wants to censor what constitutes criminal acts and no longer apply political censorship. The bots that automatically censored this will now be reprogrammed. Over the next few months, he will therefore systematically row back.

What can we learn from this? Those who want to censor the truth will eventually initiate an awakening process and the truth will reveal itself in many different ways. Zuckerberg says: “The only way to counteract this political course of censorship is by supporting the new Trump administration.”

Elon Musk commented this decision of Zuckerberg with “That’s cool!”.
