Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came from a Democratic family and increasingly saw through the machinations of the Democrats, whereupon he left the party and joined the Republicans. The Democrats were horrified by this decision and tried to ban him and even threatened him. But he was not deterred. So he sided with Donald Trump.

Never before had a celebrated Democrat left the party and joined the opposition. On the MAGA tour, Robert F. Kennedy publicly announced this decision. His problems with the Democrats was that they supported the pharmaceutical industry as a cartel, which included the whole vaccination campaign, which, in his opinion, violated the American Constitution.
